Daniel Pearl Magnet High School, a Lake Balboa-located campus that specializes in communications and journalism, hosted a ceremony for its Class of 2017 on Friday.

Naturally, the school paper photographed and reported on the event.

And one student live-tweeted the event, keeping up with online and social media journalistic techniques.

All seniors graduated, making for a 100 percent graduation rate. It was a first for the school, which was founded in 2009.
