Authorities searching for Santa Clarita bank robber

SANTA CLARITA >> Authorities are looking for a man they believed robbed the California Credit Union in Santa Clarita on Thursday.

The incident was reported after 5 p.m. Thursday at 24343 Magic Mountain Parkway, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said.

The man passed a note demanding cash and threatened having a weapon but none was seen, according to Eimiller.

He’s described as an older man wearing a fedora, Eimiller said.

The FBI, who is working with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on the case, is investigating if the robbery is linked to any others, Eimiller added.
